he Series 160S “S” Type Stainless Steel Pitot Tube is designed specifically for flow measurement of dirty, particulate laden air or gas streams typical in smoke stack and other environmental testing. Total and static pressure tubes are precisely aligned and welded together every 6 inches for maximum accuracy, strength, and long term durability. Permanent mount (PM) models include a 1" welded stainless steel sleeve and adjustable compression fitting with 1" MNPT mounting threads.

The flow sensor can measure the consumption of compressed air, nitrogen, oxygen, CO₂, argon or other non-corrosive gases. The measurement ball valve permits easy installation and removal with only a short interruption of the flow.

EE771 flow sensor employs the well proven E+E hot-film sensor element with high immunity to contamination, which leads to outstanding long-term stability and accuracy even under harsh operating conditions.

With wide measuring range from 0.5 to 200 Nm/s (100...39370 SFPM) (1:400) and fast response time, one and the same flow meter model can be employed throughout the entire gas supply system. It records accurately even the smallest flow which represent an essential prerequisite for calculating consumption costs or for finding leaks.

Every E+E flow sensor undergoes a precise factory calibration procedure at a pressure of 7 bar (102 psi), the corresponding calibration certificate is included in the standard scope of supply.

The EE771 flow sensor is available with an additional MODBUS RTU or M-BUS (Meter-Bus) interface.

The EE575 is a compact Miniature air flow sensor designed for high volume applications. Due to the small design, the module can be fitted to nearly every application. The use of a high-quality E+E thin film sensor element based on the hot film anemometer principle ensures optimal precision and maximum sensitivity. The innovative design makes E+E velocity sensor elements less sensitive to dust and other pollution than conventional hot wire anemometers. The EE576 is a compact air velocity transmitter designed for measurement of lowest velocity.EE576 air velocity sensor with probe cable and polycarbonate enclosure

Equipped with a newly developed sensor head and utilizing the proven E+E hot-film element, already tested a million times in the automotive industry, these transmitters are less sensitive to dust and dirt than conventional hot-wire elements.

This is reflected in the excellent reproducibility and proven long-term stability of the measuring results. The factory calibration with a special wind tunnel for lowest velocity ensures optimal precision and maximum sensitivity. The EE576 can be mounted fast and easily.

The alignment strip along the probe’s tube and the matching mounting flange determine the orientation of the sensor probe. The mounting flange allows for an infinitely variation of the depth of the sensor probe. The electronics integrated in the probe tube provide a linear analogue signal of 0-5V or 0-10V for the velocity range 0...2m/s (0...400ft/min) or 0...1m/s (0...200ft/min).

The EE650 air flow sensor is dedicated for accurate and reliable measurement in building automation and ventilation applications. EE650 employs the new VTQ air flow sensor element, which operates on the thermal anemometer principle and is manufactured by E+E in state-of-the-art thin film technology.

Due to its innovative design, the VTQ air flow sensor element is very robust and highly insensitive to pollution, which leads to outstanding long-term performance. 

The measured data is available either on an analogue voltage or current output, user selectable, or on the RS485 interface with Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP protocol.

The enclosure design and the mounting flange included in the scope of supply allow for easy installation or replacement. The configuration and adjustment of the EE650 can be comfortably performed on the electronics board or via digital interface.

The Series 160 Stainless Steel Pitot Tube is constructed from corrosion resistant stainless steel with permanently etched insertion depth graduations for a lifetime of service. The static pressure port is parallel to the sensing tube to allow quick, easy alignment of the tube with air flow. A universal model fits the user supplied 3/4" schedule 40 pipe in any length.
